Hi there the design is well under way and will be completed soon. Hope you have an awesome day.
In the first images that cover the leandscape really well the hardscape will be a tan and grey flagstone.
Here in the first view the plants on the right are Emerald Green Arborvitae, Little Lime Hydrangea, and Green Mountain Boxwood.
The wall is not represented between the driveway and back yard because we don’t know just how it will be.
Inside the gate you can see Flowering Dogwoods, Pink Rhododendrons, and Little Lime Hydrangea.
The smaller green plants with pink flowers are Rose Creek Abelia, and there are also Greene Mountain Boxwoods on either side of the walkway.
You will see some tall columnar evergreens and there are a couple of different plants to choose from that grow with a habit like this. You can also see some Dwarf English Boxwoods and a Bloodgood Japanese Maple at the end of the grass area.
Here behind the grill and bebween the fire pit area and the bistro table and chair area the tall plants are a columnar Boxwood.
In the images you can see some strategically placed boulders, the small red plants are Red Carpet Sedum.
In the image below you can see the view looking back across the yard and when these plants are mature there will be total privacy from the neighbor on that side.
This walkway below is made of pea gravel and makes a nice crunching sound as you walk through it.
The three tall columnar trees in these photos are Columnar European Hornbeams which have a great fall color. The taller yellow looking trees are Ginko Trees which have an amazing Spring display of leaves and Fall color show.
The tall evergreens along the property line are Green Giant Arborvitae.
These images below show a grey paver to show you a paver option.
Thank you, please review these images and talk to you soon.
The size of the outdoor structure is 20′ x 16′. I have represented the grill and fireplace as being made with a stonepaver product.
Here you can see the gate has been moved to the other side of the parking pad.
The walkway from the driveway is now peagravel.
I have added 4 Liberty Hollies in the design as well. One at each back corner, one near the door, and one by the outdoor structure.
I also added hanging lights into the area as well. I experimented with the lights a good bit and ways to hold them up but the post is likely the best way and was your suggestion.
In this space thereis room for two sofas and the outdoor grilling station with bar counter area.
In this version I have covered all of the ideas in your email as well as what we talked about by phone. Please review these images and lets talk Monday. Thank you and have a great weekend.
