Tale as old as time song as old as rhyme. Perennials and the Bees.
Hi there these are the first basic images of the structure it takes me typically another three days to post the design images. Notice there is a form at the bottom of the page for you to send me links.
In the below images you will notice I have represented the wood on the home as stained and the walkway as a cobble type. We can change this to other pavers or flagstone etc when you are ready to see it.
In the above image on the left you can see a pink blooming plant and this is a variety of Bee Balm, the yellow is a Dwarf Goldenrod, the rounded shrubs are boxwoods, the tall thin evergreens are Sentinel Junipers and the conical evergreens are Green Mountain Boxwoods. There are larger more brown looking shrubs and those are Ninebark which blooms and has interesting foliage.
Since some of the blue / purple blooming plants are similar in growth style and color of bloom I want you to know there is Russian Sage there as well, the plants growing over the edge of the wall for parking are Geranium Rozanne.
Blue Fortune Agistache is all the way to the right, next is Russian Sage , then the Geraniums again with Bee Balm lastly near the upper circular Boxwood.
The evergreen in the above image is a Sentinel Juniper and it maxes out at 5′ tall and 1′ wide.
Bee Balm is behind the Russian Sage which ison the lower left with Dwarf Goldenrod on the right of it. Bee balm is all the way to the right.
Here is Lavender in the bright center with Blue Fortune Agistache to the left of it and Daylillies in red near the walkway. Under the rock is Primrose and there are Maiden Grasses around which simply look like a mounded grass until near the end of summer when they make their plumes.
To the far left and upper is Bee balm, then in blue are Lavender, Russian Sage, Geraniums next, and Primrose at the rock with a Maiden grass behind.
The evergreens are around to give you some structure during winter when the perennials will not be there.
And lastly here is a Little Gem Magnolia near the fireplace. Take a look at this and I can make any changes you like. Talk soon.
