Hi there these are the basic images I spoke of. We will be working on the landscape design over the next few days, as I get closer to completing it I will send you an email.
Here is an amazing boulder patio and fire pit area. The pink trees are Pink Flowering Dogwoods.
The plants at the beginning of the walkway are Green Mountain Boxwood ( smaller ), and Liberty Holly ( larger ).
The yellow plants are Birch Leaf Spirea in Fall color, The redish plants against the house are Oakleaf Hydrangea.
I kept things very simple with a cedar pergola and boulders with Karly Rose Grasses and gaps between.
The green small tree by the upper patio is a Ryusen Japanese Maple look up the fall color to see how awesome this plant is.
The patio surface I am showing you here with walkway is kind of fieldstone or cobble like to keep with the rustic nature of the space.
The width of the patio is 18’6″ wide, and the fire pit is 5′ wide.
Now is the time to look over the images and think about what you would like to see. Take as much time as you need to let me know what you would like to see in the change.
Revised Original Update:
Hi there hope your week has gone well. Here you can see that I have made the retaining wall where you will have some great flat space near the house.
The way the hill begins to incline a good bit back makes it a natural spot for use. I have also put a curtain drain along the walkway which is similar to a french drain but it has decorative rock on top instead of grass.
In any of our retaining walls there is also drainage but since your slope covers so much sq ft I don’t think the wall drainage is enough protection for weather extremes.
This maximizes your space and drainage. Now is the time where you will want to make a list of changes to be seen and email them to me. Hope you guys have a fantastic 4th of July and talk with you soon.
Additional Wall Images:
Hi there here are the images with the upper wall as well.
Have a great night and talk with you soon.
