Hi there these are the first images of what is there now. The next upload will be the completed design.
Landscape Design Images:
Hi there the colors used in the design are jewel tones – red for ruby, blue for saffire , and white for diamond. You requested large blooms and with your lighting conditions around the home I used the best representations I could.
Here in the front the plants you see are Fat Albert Blue Spruce ( popular because it doesn’t get too large ), Red Hardy Hibiscus, BoBo Hydrangea, and White Blooming Cyclamen.
The paver on the ground surface is Tremron’s Stonhurst in Glacier. The evergreens on either side of the entrance are Green Mountain Boxwoods and the grasses are Karly Rose Grass.
Along the side I can reuse the stone from the back to make a low maintenance gap between the house and walkway or I could put plants in there for you in the design. This is one of the questions I have for you.
Here in the back I have laid things out a little differently from what we spoke about because I put the table and chairs for 6 down below. It seemed the best use of the space with the layout. The posts are in the way with the concrete surface the size I made it. I could expand the concrete upper area but it would make the lower areas less usable. Just let me know your thoughts.
I have represented a bench seat planter made of block with a stucco finish over it but it could just as well be cedar as a bench with a back. Also I took your fence and covered it with cedar for a horizontal look.
There are raised planters around with low maintenance low light plants that are easy to care for.
The storage is safely hidden down the alley and the green grass can be K-9 grass or some other synthetic grass where the dog can use the bathroom and it is easily cleaned up. The area in front of the storage is gravel.
Here on the porch I made a lounging area where you can view the activity of your guests.
Take some time and look things over, I can’t wait to hear your feedback on the space.
Hi there I made the Canna’s a little larger so you could see the color and size impact they would be.
I also added some Astilbe which will work perfectly with this shady side of the house while adding some color when they bloom.
The Astilbe has been added so when you are in the space you see it at different points.
Here in the back yard some things have changed like when we spoke. The center section is gone and the bench seat has changed.
The grilling area has been added to the side area.
I have added some stylish benches with tables for a better flow.
Take a look at these and let me know if you have ideas for our next change.
Hi Danette in these images you can see there is more grass area and the fire pit area has opened up.
Here in the above images the front walkway has been taken out other than the short connection between the steps and the driveway. The garbage pad has been made concrete and in the back the deck has been removed and the expansion of the porch is the same. The skypencil hollies have been put back with the planter boxes. Flagstone has replaced the pavers as well. Talk to you soon.
