Can you help me figure out what shape, style, and material to make a patio out of?

Yes we can help and do help people just like you every day. First we start with a consultation about your property and needs. There are many ideas to take into account like does your yard have a slope?, Are you looking for an entertainment space?, and How do you want the area to feel like very formal with clean lines or more relaxed with organic shapes and textures? A patio design can help you to see the space in advance and make decisions like: 1. Make the surface larger, change the shape of the patio, or change the materials from pavers, concrete, or stone.

How much patio space do I need?

We ask questions to figure out the details of how the space will be used. This patio needs list informs us of the must haves that will be included in your patio design. You are given an initial diagram and graphic design on a web page that you can share with family and others that you would like input from. After receiving input from others and consulting with us we are able to make changes to the images and send you an update to look at the new patio design images.

What shape should my patio be?

We feel that your patio’s shape should be determined by the uses of your space first and then adding your personal taste to the materials, and supporting plantings with other architectural features. Always the use must come first in your patio design.

What is your patio design process?

We start by setting an appointment with you and any other decision makers who need to be present. While visiting we measure your space including the home and property boundaries because we feel you must see these in the image to get a feel of size and scope. We take those measurements of the space and any existing patio surfaces and get started making a close replica of your home and property in our computer design program. Within a few days you be visiting the beginnings of your design through a link that is received by email.

What are some of the items included in a patio design?

A close approximation that is as close as we can get to what your home looks like now will be  made first. Then we begin adding the surface and depending on the client we may post the same patio with different materials like one may be stone, and another may be pavers. We even sometimes add arbors, pergolas, trellises, patio furniture, water features like ponds and waterfalls, complete gardens with specimen plantings.
